Hello everyone!

I can't believe that this week is the last week of Term 3!  Time has certainly flown by over the past 8 weeks.

This week the children had their 3rd Hip hop lesson ... it's looking good!!

During Friday's art lesson, the children were learning the skills involved in 'Collage'.  They each 'collaged' a dogs' face - please do pop in and have a look at them as they just look wonderful on our back wall.

This Tuesday I will be out of the room on CRT (Classroom Release Time) and Mrs Imogen MacDonald will be teaching.

I hope you all have a great week!

Today we continued our unit on 'Keeping ourselves safe' with a visit from Sergeant Midgley and his colleague.  They talked to us about what they did as part of their job as being in the police and what we should do to keep safe.  They stressed the importance of knowing our full names, addresses and phone numbers in case we ever get lost and need a policeman to help us ... Lily was involved in a role play showing us this ...............

To end our visit, we went out to hear the police siren ... it was very loud!!

Thank you Sergeant Midgley!!!!

Yesterday we had our Rutherford Team olympics and Conor won the Discus!!!  Here he is standing on the podium ............. well done Conor!!!  We are very proud of you!!!

Hello everyone,

It's hard to believe we only have two weeks left until the end of the term!

Life has been really busy in Room 2.  We are working more and more with Room 1 as part of Mary and I collaborative teaching.  As you already know, our Maths programme is run collaboratively and our focus over the past 3 weeks is to collaboratively teach writing.  We have had a big focus on using drama to improve our children's writing and we are thrilled with the work your children have been producing.  Here are some photos of Rooms 1 and 2 hard at work .............

This week we are having our 3rd Hip Hop lesson.  The children are really enjoying these lessons!  They are learning a routine to the Justin Timberlake song "Can't stop the feeling".  Ask them to show you what they have learnt at home.
